OfficeCAD, automated Internet CAD drawing provider, combines capabilities with Tacton, a leading sales configuration solutions provider

OfficeCAD announces a new joint online combination of OfficeCAD's proven "On Demand CAD" parametric software and Tacton's sales configurator software for the creation of custom product configurations along with instant custom CAD drawings for manufacturing firms worldwide.

Using a customer's standard web browser, unique customer product and dimensional data along with ordering data are entered from the Tacton Configurator web page. A new, custom CAD drawing is generated and displayed. When the customer approves the drawing, it is sent to manufacturing as a production order and the parts are begun to be manufactured.

The OfficeCAD / Tacton Configurator combination is unique in that it combines the best of Internet-based parametrics and Internet-based product configuration in a high return on investment solution for manufacturing companies.
