Tacton teams up with JAIEL to spearhead sales in Korea

December 6, 2006, Stockholm, Sweden – JAIEL IT Co, one of the largest specialists in product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions in Korea, has signed an agreement to become Tacton System's reseller in Korea. The reseller agreement includes the Tacton Configurator product line and will complement JAIEL's total solution offering for manufacturing companies.

JAIEL is the largest PLM IBM Business Partner in Korea and is also listed on the Korean stock exchange. JAIEL has committed considerable resources to market Tacton throughout the country.

Through IBM PartnerWorld Industry Networks, IBM is working closely with Tacton to deliver open and flexible solutions to match customers' needs in the fabrication and assembly industry. Customers such as Ericsson Enterprise and Modpac benefit from an enhanced ability to sell complex or build-to-order products and services, higher quality quotes and orders, quicker time-to-market, and vastly reduced selling costs.
