Tacton partners with Arion Data and Planning Group to provide sales configurator solutions in Spain and Portugal
October 16, 2008 - Barcelona and Bilbao, Spain and Stockholm, Sweden - Tacton, a global vendor of sales and product configuration software, announced today that they have signed reseller agreements with two leading Spanish providers of Information Technology, Arion Data and Planning Group.
Arion Data has headquarters in Barcelona, Spain and Planning Group has headquarters in Bilbao, north of Spain, and both companies have offices and representatives throughout the region. In addition to providing comprehensive geographical coverage in Spain and Portugal, Arion Data and Planning Group have system integration skills as well as broad expertise to be able to implement Tacton Configurator flexibly in diverse customer environments. Arion Data has extensive capabilities in PLM (Smarteam, Teamcenter and Model Manager) and CAD solutions, while Planning Group specializes in Industry solutions, from planning control to CRM (e.g. Exact Synergy) and back-end/ERP issues.
Arion Data and Planning Group have teamed up to jointly deliver the Tacton Configurator to manufacturing customers in Spain and Portugal, as well as in Latin America. Traditionally manufacturers in these regions have not adopted customer or partner-facing sales configurator technology, and have mostly utilized configuration as part of their back-office systems. Therefore Arion Data and Planning Group are offering the latest generation of sales configuration solutions from Tacton, which will enable manufacturers in the region to improve their sales, quoting and engineering processes.
