Tacton Configurator in IBM WebSphere Commerce

 

Tacton and IBM have teamed up to perform the integration of the Tacton Configurator with the release of IBM WebSphere Commerce, Professional Edition and Business Edition, on WebSphere Application Server.

In Tacton's integration the configurator is embedded into WebSphere Commerce. It has the same end-user interface, uses the same database, and has no overlapping functionality.

By adding configuration capabilities to WebSphere Commerce, Tacton Configurator enables e-business with complex products. Customers benefit from an enhanced ability to sell complex products and services, higher quality quotes and orders, quicker time-to-market, and vastly reduced selling costs.
