Tacton Systems closes record year for 2011

The Stockholm-based software company, Tacton Systems, developer of software for advanced sales configuration, grows more than ever and showed record results for 2011.

Stockholm, June 20, 2012: Tacton Systems, world leader in advanced sales and product configuration, today announced that 2011 was a record year, with an organic growth of 51%.

Tacton Systems’ net sales amounted to 88 million SEK, the highest in company history, and the company is now looking forward to what looks like another bright year. The first quarter of 2012 showed a 45% organic growth.

“The market for sales configuration of complex products, which we find ourselves in, is maturing. More companies are looking into this type of solutions and are starting to see the huge potential to increase revenue by using them. This combined with our stable and well-built software is giving us this success now”, says Christer Wallberg, CEO Tacton Systems.

During the past year, the company has grown with more than 40 new employees. Among these are a couple of strong management recruitments. Anders Hellermark, formerly from Intentia and StreamServe, was recruited for the role as head of the Tacton Partner Channel in August and the consultancy organization was strengthened early in 2012 with Magnus Walldén, also from the Intentia/Lawson. Walldén was recruited for the role as VP Professional Services, responsible for application development and project management.

“With the key recruitments of Hellermark and Walldén and the progress we have made with our solutions during the past year, I feel confident that we now have the software solutions, organization, and management required to deliver world class solutions to our customers and at the same time meet the tough growth targets we have for the coming years”, says Christer Wallberg.

Tacton Systems has more than 200 industrial customers, and among them are many international companies such as Siemens, GE Healthcare, Tetra Pak and ABB.
