Tacton Configurator in IBM WebSphere Commerce

Tacton and IBM have teamed up to perform the integration of the Tacton Configurator with the release of IBM WebSphere Commerce 6.0, Professional Edition and Business Edition, on WebSphere Application Server. A standard Tacton and WebSphere Commerce Integration Kit for V6.0 is available.

Tacton's integration makes the configurator embedded into WebSphere Commerce. It has the same end-user interface, uses the same database, and has no overlapping functionality. It is not merely a separate application integrated with "connectors".

By adding configuration capabilities to WebSphere Commerce, the Tacton Configurator enables e-business with complex products. Customers benefit from an enhanced ability to sell complex products and services, higher quality quotes and orders, quicker time-to-market, and vastly reduced selling costs.
