Tacton Systems launches new enhanced integration to SAP

Tacton’s configuration solutions for SAP enable users to configure complex products quickly and accurately using up‑to‑date, authoritative master and transaction data from SAP ERP. This way, companies can rest assured that their sales teams quote products that are actually buildable and optimally priced and sold.

Users can import master data on customers, contacts, currencies and exchange rates, as well as a correct product catalog with valid price lists, from SAP ERP to the CPQ system, and export sales quotes and orders back to SAP. They can thus make sure that products in a sales quote that were configured using the CPQ tool agree with the business rules and product information from the ERP software.

Wilo SE selects Tacton as collaborative partner for configure-price-quote and guided selling solutions

Tacton Systems unveils its new flagship product – Tacton CPQ

Tacton Systems – a leading global supplier of Configure Price Quote (CPQ) software today announced the launch of a new product – Tacton CPQ.

The solution builds on 15 plus years of CPQ experience and delivers an unprecedented depth of functionality to provide manufacturers with an end-to-end CPQ solution.

Designed to support companies in their smart manufacturing (Industry 4.0) initiatives, Tacton CPQ brings sales in closer synchronization with engineering and production than ever before.

The product is built on a brand new technology platform and is initially available in two editions – Professional and Enterprise.

The Professional Edition is ready to use and features industry-specific workflows, templates and processes to meet the needs of customers looking for a standard solution.

For companies that require a more tailored approach, the Enterprise Edition can be configured to suit unique business requirements. This “configuration not customization” approach minimizes the need for modifications and speeds up implementation.

For example, administrators can configure the user interface with drag and drop functionality and update pricing models without touching a line of code, while end-users on the sales side can configure the quotation templates to suit the needs of the communication with the customer.

Alimak Group selects Tacton Systems as Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solution partner

Stockholm – Oct 12, 2016 Tacton Systems today announced that Alimak Group, the world’s leading supplier of vertical access equipment, has selected Tacton to deliver a CPQ – Configure, Price Quote solution to upgrade and streamline their sales process.

Alimak supplies elevators, hoists and work platforms, primarily for the construction and industrial sectors. The company, known across the industry for its strong safety record and high quality products, has sales, services and distribution operations covering more than 90 countries.
