Tacton Systems appoints Alastair Sorbie as new Chairman of the Board

STOCKHOLM, APRIL 16 2018 — Tacton Systems AB (Tacton), a global leader in advanced Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solutions, today announced Alastair Sorbie as the new Tacton Chairman of the Board.

Alastair Sorbie succeeds Lars Dybkjaer, Managing Partner at GRO Capital, who served as interim Chairman of the Board from December 4, 2017 to now. Lars Dykbjaer continues as Director of the board.

Alastair Sorbie brings extensive knowledge and expertise from the ERP market for large organizations, as well as top-level positions at expansive global software companies.

Sorbie served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Industrial & Financial Systems AB (IFS) from 2006 until recently. He joined IFS in 1997 as managing director when IFS entered the UK market. He has worked with ERP solutions since 1981 and has held senior management positions in several global applications software product companies.
