Stockholm, Sweden – October 16, 2013 Tacton Systems, global supplier of sales and product configuration software, announced today that German based Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has chosen Tacton’s configuration solution to take their configurators to the next level.
Bürkert has been using configurators for many years and has decided to search for a new, web based and future proof configuration solution. During the selection process Bürkert has directed its attention on the possibility to create highly dynamic and flexible product models that can easily be extended and adapted. Focus has also been on finding a stable interface to the data source system to support sales people and partners in their daily business. The choice fell on Tacton Configurator.
Bürkert is also implementing an eShop, which will integrate the Tacton Configurator solution and offer configurable products online, which will be a great help for the end customers.

The implementation of Tacton configurator will start with one product, the Valve Island type 8640 which later will be followed by a further product range. The Valve Island configurator will be used world-wide in the 35+ Bürkert locations. Initially the configurator will be available in English and German and it will be possible to switch between the languages to fit the user’s preference.
