Capgemini and Tacton collaborate to make client businesses smarter by connecting customer, product and factory

Stockholm, May 15, 2019 – Capgemini in Sweden today announced a consulting agreement with Tacton to provide innovative Configure Price Quote (CPQ)[1] solutions to global manufacturing clients. This collaboration combines Capgemini’s strength in delivering a full spectrum of digital transformation initiatives with Tacton’s CPQ solutions to better connect customer, product and factory.

As a leading systems integrator, Capgemini in Sweden will collaborate with Tacton to deliver a next generation, cloud-based CPQ solution designed specifically for the manufacturing industry, making it easier to design, configure and sell products. The software from Tacton will improve Resource Planning and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, by connecting customers with the factory and product. The solution will ensure that sales, engineering and manufacturing teams are always aligned. Together, Capgemini and Tacton will help to transform business processes and improve the sales cycle.

Stephan Hedborg, Head of Manufacturing at Capgemini in Sweden said, “With this strategic consulting agreement in place, we will provide best-in-class CPQ solutions to manufacturing clients. Our joint offering will not only add value to our existing client base, but will also create value for new clients and thereby grow and improve their businesses as well.”

Under the consulting agreement, Capgemini in Sweden and Tacton will be working with some of the world’s leading manufacturers in the medical technology and industrial machinery sectors.

Frederic Lazio, CEO of Tacton said, “Our joint offering with Capgemini in Sweden is enabled with our deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, and together we are perfectly positioned to deliver transformation projects at scale that bring real value to clients. The recent launch of a tailored offering for the automotive industry marks the latest step as we further invest in this successful relationship.”
