DISquare May 2014

Stockholm, Sweden – May 22, 2014- Tacton Systems, global supplier of Configure Price Quote (CPQ) solutions announces today that going forward the Japanese partner, DISquare Corporation, will resell Tacton System’s complete CPQ solution, including the solution for Design Automation in SOLIDWORKS; TactonWorks. The strengthening of this partnership expands Tacton’s geographical coverage for sales, support and implementation.

The need for CPQ solutions in the Japanese market is growing rapidly as modularization is becoming a more vital part of the manufacturing industry. Also, increasing competition between Japanese manufacturing companies creates an increasing need for faster and more streamlined sales and production processes, as well as, the need to deliver higher quality products to the customers.

“Today, modularization seems to be the natural course for industrial companies going forward, and we believe that the advantages of modularization will be most effective if they are accompanied by configuration and CPQ solutions. We have found Tacton’s CPQ tools very user-friendly and the best one of its kind in the market today”, says Mr. Tadashi Matsuo, President DISquare Corporation.

As the need for CPQ increases, Japanese manufacturing companies are forced to either develop the solution themselves; a very time consuming and costly process, or they can buy the solution from a solution provider, such as DISquare, that has partnered up with expert CPQ suppliers.

“The addition of Tacton’s solutions adds to DISquare’s core areas and makes us an even stronger supplier of services that soon will be invaluable to our clients”, says Mr. Tadashi Matsuo, President DISquare Corporation.

Japan is one of Tacton Systems core markets and this kind of partnerships are in order to succeed.

”To be successful in the Japanese market it is of great importance to have a vigorous partner eco system. DISquire is an important member of our Japanese ecosystem and provides leading expertise in smart product structures and guided selling of complex products”, Says Anders Hellermark, SVP Business Development Tacton Systems.
