Tacton’s Design Automation Solution Granted Renewed Autodesk Inventor Certification for 2019

Stockholm, Sweden, November 21, 2018 —Tacton, a global leader in Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and design automation solutions for the manufacturing industry, announces today that, for the third year in a row, its Design Automation solution will receive the Autodesk Inventor software certification. Tacton Design Automation lets manufacturing companies accelerate complex, made-to-order design processes through automatically generated 3D product models.

Integrated with Inventor, Tacton Design Automation reduces routine computer-aided design processes from weeks to minutes. The solution generates customized 3D models and drawings from Inventor for use in sales quotes and production processes. As a result, manufacturing companies can reduce the cost of custom designs, respond faster to sales inquiries, and simplify the entire digital manufacturing process.

“With the massive wave of digital transformation happening right now, the industry needs 3D models and automated solutions that can take digital manufacturing to the next level,” says Mathias Storm, product manager, Tacton Systems. “We’re proud to once again receive the Autodesk Certified App logo and provide total integration with Autodesk Inventor. Together, we’re helping manufacturers get up to speed with Industry 4.0.”

Autodesk Inventor is a leading provider of mechanical design and 3D CAD software, offering professional-grade 3D mechanical design, documentation, and product simulation tools. The Autodesk Certified Apps Program is for Autodesk Developer Network members with applications that provide the highest level of quality, integration, and compatibility with select Autodesk products and releases.
