Wilo SE selects Tacton as collaborative partner for configure-price-quote and guided selling solutions

Stockholm, Sweden – April 11, 2017 – Tacton Systems, global supplier of Configure Price Quote (CPQ) solutions, today announced that Wilo SE has gone live with their Wilo Solution Finder based on Tacton’s CPQ solution.

Wilo is a world-leading manufacturer of pumps and pump systems for heating, cooling and air-conditioning technology as well as for water supply and sewage disposal. The company stands at the forefront of bringing digitalization to the pump and HVAC industries and making a lasting contribution to so-called Industry 4.0. Its award-winning “smart pumps” feature the latest sensor technology and innovative control functions such as bidirectional connectivity via Bluetooth for remote monitoring, setting of operating conditions and system optimization.

The company is seeing a shift not only in the growing digitalization of the industry, but in the way business customers want to interact during the decision-making and buying processes. To meet these needs, Wilo decided to enhance its website with more interactive, customer-centric tools to improve the customer experience – while streamlining workflow processes and shortening quote-to-order times.

Wilo turned to Tacton to help develop its Wilo Solution Finder, part of an interconnected solution that provides guided selling, product and service configuration, and quotation and document creation. Wilo launched a prototype of its new solution at the 2017 ISH Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for bathroom, building, energy and air-conditioning technologies and renewable energies.

“The Wilo Solution Finder customizes our dialogue with customers in a far more personalized way and allow us to digitally provide customers with optimum levels of consultation – online and 24/7,” says Bernd Strübig, program manager for digital marketing at Wilo. “Our collaboration with Tacton will enable us to bring new levels of personalization, visualization and ease of use to our customers. By combining advanced product configuration and consulting services online, we intend to create the most innovative pump consultancy tool in the business,” he concludes.

Frederic Laziou, CEO of Tacton Systems, says, “We are thrilled that Wilo SE has chosen us as their CPQ partner. This is a great opportunity to help Wilo take its sales and customer experience ambitions to the next level, and we are looking forward to a long and successful relationship.”
