Tacton Systems Gets a Flying Start for 2013

Stockholm, June 27, 2013: The Swedish software company Tacton Systems, that develops and implements software for complex sales configuration, announced today that the company is off to a flying start for 2013 with a revenue growth of 30 percent compared to the same period last year.

It looks like Tacton Systems will see yet another record year in 2013 after the all-time high of 105 MSEK net sales in 2012. However, the company is aiming a lot higher. The next goal is to reach 500 MSEK by 2017.

”We are aware that it is a tough goal to reach, but we wouldn’t aim so high if we weren’t confident that it is an achievable goal. So far, we are right on track with our plan”, says Christer Wallberg, CEO Tacton Systems.

In addition to growing on the revenue side, Tacton is also expanding its personnel side and continuing the aggressive recruitment it began in 2011. During the first five months of 2013, 24 new employees were recruited and this Fall, Tacton plans to recruit 10-15 more application developers and business consultants.

Tacton won several new manufacturing industry customers in 2012 and it’s self-evident that the need for complex configuration is growing as the configuration market matures.

“We have a fantastic prospect list for the rest of the year, as a matter a fact; it is the best I have seen during my years at Tacton. There are many well-known company names on the list and we feel certain that most of them will choose Tacton before the year is over”, says Wallberg.

Today, Tacton Systems has more than 200 customers from the manufacturing industry including Toshiba Medical Systems, Siemens, GE Healthcare, and ABB.
